How to rectify when FamilySearch put in wrong spelling of a relative when I put in correct

The ID number appears to actually be GX1H-JBN. If that is the record, you may have to post a screen shot of what you are seeing. I don't see the first name ending in Y anywhere in the record or change log. Where are you seeing it?

@BatemanJill1, is this the correct PID? GX1H-76N comes up as "Person not Found"

If GX1H-76N is a living person, we will not be able to see the profile.

Thanks for answering. No, not living, but a new person, and I have put in an approximate death date. Maybe that's why you can't find him. Later I can learn the exact date and put that in.

@BatemanJill1 , please check the ID number again and see if you typed it in correctly in your post. If not please post the correct one

Gordon Collett, you are right! The RIN is actually GH1X-7BN. Thanks also to Chas Howell and Áine Ní Donnghaile.

Can you clarify exactly what the problem is you are having? Where you are seeing the alternate spelling?
