The search field only searches for groups - is there a way to search discussions within a group? I've joined a few groups, but good group etiquette normally requires doing a search to see if an answer to your question has already been posted.

(I can't even figure out how to search to see if someone has already asked this question!)😉

There is not a search box for any one specific group or community group. The main search bar at the top of the page does search everywhere, but I've never been impressed with it function. In trying a search for your question I get:

Clicking on the red magnifying glass goes to the results page:

The second or third line of each page tells you where the post is found. However, if it is found in a group, it just says Social Groups, not which group it is in:

I have never found a way to filter this to be one specific category or one specific group.

One thing I have seen that I don't like, is people following the advice to search first for an answer to their question, finding a topic that kind of fits from several years ago, and tacking a follow up question at the end of a topic that is discussing a topic that is about 1500 website updates out of date and should have stayed long buried.

Agreed about resurrected dead links. Yes, there's no search option on the page for the individual group, so it's hard to limit results to one location. However, you did help me to at least get discussion items rather than a list of groups, so, progress!
