Messages sent to other participants on FamilySearch

It would be helpful if the message that is sent with the blue message button to another contributor was more clearly accessible to the other user. The little red dot that indicates that you have a message is pretty subtle. I would like to have those message come to my email, as well. People that are new to the program or not clued in to the "dot" will never know they have a message waiting.

    I don't know about changing the red dot, but you can set it to notify you by email and/or text message whenever you get a message.

    Go to the main FS site (by clicking the tree at the top left, for example), sign in, and then click your name at the top right. Choose Settings, then go to Notifications. Under Email Messages..., click the gray slider next to "Messages from Other Users" to turn it on (blue).
