How do I report a census that hasn't been correctly/completely indexed?

From what I've seen, the census was completely indexed, but a glitch has crept into the index.
@N Tychonievich another one from 1940 with a very long ED description, please and thank you.

@History Traveler Thank you for reporting that the image index for the 1940 US Census is incomplete. We will report the problem to our engineers. The index for this census is complete. S0, while you wait for a fix to the image index, you might want to use the search feature for the 1940 census to find your ancestors. The search page is here:
Since you know where your ancestors were living, you'll want to click the More Options button below the search fields. Enter a name and maybe a birth year to narrow results. Then click the Residence in 1940 option. That way you can specify results from Shoal Creek Township, Cherokee, North Carolina which will get you to your ancestors faster. In the search results, click the icon that looks like a sheet of paper to see the indexed information and a link to attach the record as a source in Family Tree.
