"Deutschland, ausgewählte evangelische Kirchenbücher 1500-1971," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-C398-K9SH-W?cc=3015626 : 18 October 2019)

I was looking for a 1854 marriage record, the research help link which told me I had to "Browse Images" (https://www.familysearch.org/search/film/105484204) took me to some type of records of marriage or birth, possibly, but the issue was the source records were dated 1860's & 1870's but image index showed comingled data for 1820's - 1840's that are NOT shown in this Film. I searched several dozen images but saw NONE for 1854 which would be my maternal triple-great grandparents. I do not believe the link took me to the correct Film.

I greatly appreciate the research hints and links- they have been very welcome assistance; however I would like to get to the correct source record/film with the proper related 'image index' information.

As mentioned in earlier community question, the image index does not align (does not match the source records above it). On this Film 105484204, it is impossible to figure out where a particular image index's true source handwritten record is located. It may be so mismatched that a image index on image # 101 could be on ANY of the images in the 109 image film. So even more important that 1820-1840 data not be included in this 1860-1870 Film.

@mar60 If you can share who you were looking for, I'll be glad to try to help.

The title pages of that film indicate that the marriages begin 1866. The 1854 marriage would likely be on the previous film in the series.

How can the link that was provided in "research help" get properly linked to the previous film you mention above that would contain the 1854 marriages?
