Indexing Indiana marriage records
On the application portion of the form, the bride's information has been entered on the Male or groom side; the groom's information on the Female or bride side. I can't justify switching things by noting the "Bride" and "Groom" statements on the bottom, where the marriage is actually noted, because that is covered up by a piece of paper.
This is the batch I'm working on:

Thanks for the tag.
I do agree. The project instructions and examples are clear that only the information from the overlay would be indexed for this image. The date on the overlay would be used as the Marriage Date per the field help priority list.
In case there would be another one where they got switched, I attached the Help Center Article for indexing Incorrect Records. (In this case, there is also an add "Fe" to the Male Applicant column title. You can barely see it under the overlay. Which is also why we don't index information under overlays.)

@FarrierKathy1 - In keeping with project instructions example titled How to Index a Consent to Marriage Overlay, you should index only the information signed by the Judge which is on the piece of paper covering the bottom of the page. Because of the notes paperclipped to the top, I would not index any personal information about the Bride or Groom such as age, etc -- I'm also tagging @Melissa S Himes to see if she agrees --- the researcher will see the names and decide if or how to use the other information.
