How do I separate a person into two people without messing up the temple work?
Person A was created as the spouse of person C. It was later discovered she also had person B as a spouse. However, someone added Person D as her spouse because Person A has the same name as Person D's spouse, who we will call Person Z. I need to detach Person D from Person A and create a Person Z with the same name, but different information and then attach her to Person D. However, Person A was sealed to Person D in 1973, and person B in 1989. This is before FamilySearch, so is there a way to keep the ordinances for both Person A and Person Z? There is no one to unmerge here that would change the circumstances.

you mention you cannot unmerge - this would imply that the records were combined in new FamilySearch before Family Tree was released.
