I am transcribing births for St Leonards, Shoreditch is there a quick key to copy - rather than having to type it out for each of the 16 entries on the page?

Thanks

If you are indexing or Reviewing, then the "Copy text from the selected field to all following matching fields" icon, 6th from the right. Will do what you want. (Alt+Shift+D). Index the correct value in the appropriate field in the first entry, place your cursor in that field in that first entry, and click on the icon I just described. That value will propagate to that common location all the other entries.

Please post your batch's Batch Code [MXXX-XXX] if I misunderstand you. You will find it inside brackets at the end of your batch's name, and using it, a potential Helper can look at your batch to be sure of what you mean and need.

Here is a guide to all of the icons in the Horizontal Toolbar.
