A major duplication
I found a major duplication, but it is more of a mess than I would want to try to merge. So I leave it here for someone else who might want to take it.
This guy William G. Lawrence (G35X-V7F) and all or most of his ancestors going back 12+ generations are duplicated with this William G. Lawrence (G829-2MX) and his ancestors. The complication is that one is listed as born 1309, going back to 900 and earlier. The other is born 1930, but their lines are definitely duplicates. The other complication is that the one born 1309 (but should be 1930) has 9 generations of *descendants*. This can't be correct, as someone born 1930 can't have that many. So it's a mess, but more of a mess than I want to deal with.

Since only a small fraction of FamilySearch users ever make their way to these boards so it is unlikely that anyone here will have any family interest in these Williams or any reason to work on these records. What you may want to do is paste your above discussion of your findings into the Life Sketch of these two Williams. Then any of his descendants who come across him in family tree will see your concerns and maybe one of them will take up the challenge.

I frequently merge duplicates that are not at all related to me, but they're almost always a single person or a couple, rather than a 12+ generation tree. So I would imagine that other people interested in merging would see this and would like the challenge. Or maybe not. Regardless, I'll post a couple comments noting the duplicates.
