Catalog. United States, Texas, Harrison (County), Deed Records Indexes and Deeds ALL DATES
Almost EVERY single book in the catalog is named wrong, does not match the files attached to it. The General Deed Index is a book of Court Minutes, The Deed Indexes labeled A through Z are incorrect - many of the books are copies of the Index for surnames beginning with L, but are attached to files named as surnames beginning with A, C, D etc. The Deed records are also a mess. whoever did this created an unusable catalog of records.
I was thrilled to find a website to view early title on, disappointed to find it to be useless. A search cannot be completed.

Did you check whether there were multiple items on the films? The catalog links always take you to the beginning of the film, but the section you're interested in might be much further along on it somewhere.
For example, I found the catalog page for "Deeds, 1839-1921" from Texas, County Court (Harrison County)(https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/610194). It says that "Index to Deeds, Direct (Grantor) S-Z 1839-1882" is Item 2 on film 1405675. Item 1 on that film is "Index to Deeds, Direct (Grantor) L-R 1839-1882", so when you click the camera icon for either item, you see the beginning of the L-R index. To look at the S-Z index, scroll through the thumbnails until you see the bookmark image for Item 2. (It's black with white writing and a large number 2 that's readable even in the unviewed thumbnail.) It's on image 237 (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-C3SX-H3SF-Y?cat=610194), and the first page of the 'S's is on image 239.
