Finding a birthday same as your own

I would like to see a feature where you can search up birthdays of ancestors to find one that matches your own. I think this would be a really great connection for my children to a specific family member if they had that in common. The same goes for marriage or death dates.

that would be cool - - but personally I think there are many bigger fish to fry - in the list of priorities of things that are not even meeting basic user needs.

FamilySearch clearly has limited resources so that it very much has to prioritize what it works on - though it does sometimes surprise me what they decide to work on . . .

Yes! I just thought of the same thing yesterday. There are a lot of fun and meaningful activities already available on family search, and being able to find an ancestor or close family member who shares your birthday would be a great addition.

Have you checked out the calendar campaign? It allows you to subscribe to a calendar of Ancestor/relation events that you can receive notification of throughout the year. It sounds like that is sort of what you are looking for.

Me and my Grandpa share the same birthday July 24 is our day. I'm all for Telling the world you have the honor of sharing that day with your Ancestor. And with some Grace and Love you have a picture share also
