"Possible missing child" should not appear if mother dies within 1 year of birth of last child.

In the attached screenshot you see that the mother dies 1 year after the birth of her last 3rd child. Sad enough, but: Nevertheless the Research Help shows "Possible missing child"! Not good 😕

The current algorithm obviously checks only the birth date of the mother vs. birth date of last child. Proposal: Improve the algorithm to check also the death date of the mother!

Best Regards, Kurt

    @Kurt Hartenbach

    From a recent discussion on these research suggestions / warning flags, it appears that the problem here is connected to there not being a Death date in the Vitals section. Yes, it seems silly, but the programming seems to ignore a Burial date input in this and similar cases. I have not tried this, but you might wish to add an 1878 death to her record and see if the suggestion then disappears.

    There is a lot of inconsistency in Family Tree when it comes to the Christening / Birth and Burial / Death links. In some parts of the program (say the pedigree views) they are treated as if one were the same as the other, but in others (as found here) a burial is not acknowledged as meaning the person must have died first!
