Pedigree view change when in Helper mode

It looks as though this issue has not been resolved (missing elements in landscape view when acting as a helper). So, can you explain why the Home and + - features were removed from the landscape view when acting as a helper? It is a little bit frustrating to try and get back to the home person without that feature. Or, are you all still working on this? Or did you move it somewhere on the page and I am missing the boat somehow?
