Double check categorization

I was not sure where to ask this question but I find quite a few records mis-categorized. In other words it is a categorized as a DEATH record but the record is actually a BIRTH record. This is an example https://www.familysearch.org/search/ark:/61903/1:1:FXDY-2DG?cid=fs_copy

Why does this happen? Is there a way to fix it? I go to the Edit screen but only the data on the record can be edited, not the categorization. I do a lot of research and find these mis-categorized records almost every day.

Is there some way to correct them when I find them? Thank you.

I see that issue most often in Massachusetts town records. I believe the issue results because of the way the records were kept - a single book contains birth, marriage, and death records for each location/town.
