Unable to access the BDM site from the FHC, please help
I can't access familysearch.bdm.nsw.gov.au at LIsmore, New South Wales, Unit 408387. The Lismore ward FHC computers cannot access New South Wales BDM. Nor can the laptops of anyone who brings their own computer into the FHC. Queensland and Victoria BDM access work fine. Just not New South Wales. I can access NSW BDM at home, but not at the FHC. Difficult to explain to non-members and members why something so fundamental as births, deaths and marriages information can't be accessed. I have reported this to the Sydney technical person with no solution

Hello
Based in the UK, if I go to https://www.nsw.gov.au/births-deaths-marriages as a general website URL, I can access the New South Wales birth, deaths and Marriage record site. Is access through FamilySearch the issue?
Using this URL:L https://www.familysearch.bdm.nsw.gov.au/ no page loads. Perhaps the FamilySearch site has a broken link?
Could you send a screenshot where the usual link for this site occurs in FamilySearch please?
Looking forward to hearing from you!

I am not connected with FamilySearch but I noticed this question has previously been asked, and has received comments, within a different topic

Hi David,
When I am at home I don't have a problem going through the familysearch.bdm.nsw.gov.au or bdm.nsw.gov.au.
The problem is, when I am at the family history centre at the chapel. I can't access either.
I have allowed Windows Network Diagnostics to run a check on my own laptop at the chapel. It tells me the DNS server isn't responding. Yet I can get other websites at the chapel.
I will be back at there on Tuesday and I will send you a screenshot then.

Here's the screen captures. Taken off a FHC computer. The first one is the NSW.gov.au page with the link arrowed that we're clicking on to take us to the search page for BDM, the second one is the page that opens every time when we click on that link.
Family search won't let me upload the file in docx format (I saved the screen captures in Word). Had to convert them to text files to be acceptable to Family search. Email me at glynessmoore@icloud.com if you can't read these attachments and I'll send them to you direct.
