Chapa de Mota. Birth Records 1899–1907: twins indexed incorrectly
Regarding the record https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QGQJ-2YRG ...
Certificate 76, starting twelve lines from the bottom of page 2 verso (left-hand side of image 579), has been indexed incorrectly, and there's no way for me fix one datum in it using "Edit" function.
The entry is for the birth of twins. The first child is male, Martiniano /Martínez/. The second child is female, "Isabel del proprio apellido" (Isabel of the same surname).
(Edit: I thought only one of the children had been indexed, but they were both there in the index, just Isabel was out of order: she should be immediately after Martiniano. I was able to fix Isabel's name using "Edit".)
But there's no way for me to fix Isabel's gender using "Edit".
Date of birth, event date, and parent names are correct already:
Entry made 13 July 1907
Born 3 July 1907
Father Rosaliano /Martínez/ age 51
Mother Saturnina /Vázquez/ age 37

@davidleelambert While current editing options do not including changing the sex for an entry, we are told that additional fields will be opened for editing in the future. Meanwhile, please make note of the error when you use the record as a source for your ancestor in Family Tree.

You mean you actually expect to use the sex or gender field in FamilySearch indexes? In my experience, there's no point: the field is inevitably either blank or wrong. There are entire parishes in the Hungarian baptismal indexes (both Catholic and Reformed) where some recent process changed every child to male.
