Time Lines for Ancestors

These time lines always include multiple world or national historic events, most of which are not likely to have had any impact on my ancestor’s life. I suggest that local events or at least those happening in the state of residence be used instead. An exception would be Wars he might have served in, disease outbreaks, natural disasters in and near his home state. Or, just leave them off, entirely. It’s distracting presented as they are.
