create a draft page option
I suggest an option to create a preliminary draft page on which we can start placing everything we find that MAY apply to our ancestors without yet having to commit our findings to our actual family tree (before others can access it). This would be tantamount to a draft page in which we pencil-in, so to speak, our findings which would NOT be seen by others. When we have reached a desired point on this family line and have all the supporting sources, we can go back through, at that time, and determine which sources apply and which ones don't apply and then make our comments. After it is perfected, we would then save/merge it to the family tree all at once. If there are any fields that haven't been addressed in the precursor stage, the FamilySearch website would pop those up to be dealt with.

As Family Tree is a collaborative project, I would suggest keeping any unsubstantiated details within your private software, ready to be inputted / shared once you do gain enough evidence to be confident the data and sources found really do relate to your ancestors and relatives.
