Can't merge these records
Roger Ellis David has two entries: LNBP-XHY and the Membership Record entry KWCR-RHS
When I tried to merge LNBP-XHY into KWCR-RHS I got a FamilySearch response - "Merge Failed". I then tried to back out and called it "Not a Match" thinking I could perhaps approach the merge a different way. Today, I tried to merge again, and again got the message "Merge Failed". I need help putting these two entries into a merged state into the KWCR-RHS person. I did contact FamilySearch support at the 866-406-1830 number and they recommended that I contact FamilySearch Support through the Community Family Tree.
This is my father, Roger Ellis David.

@RafaelFanton, profiles for living people are only visible to the user who created them. You cannot merge two different users' profiles for a living person. This is a privacy feature.

The answer to your question turned out to be something quite different than expected, and momentarily stumped even the experts. I'm posting publicly so others may read and learn.
There is an upper limit to the number of memories that can be posted to one PID and that is 1000. You will notice that one of the PIDs has 999 memories and the other has 129. The only way to merge the two records is to reduce the number of memories below 1000. A suggestion would be to combine several newspaper articles into one memory, for example.
Thanks for your question. It helped educate us.
Kind regards,
