Ability to "Star" a Database to be Informed when it is indexed
I am interested in documents in a part of Pennsylvania that FamilySearch has, but where the documents may not be indexed and live for a while. I was hoping that like for ancestors, there would be an ability to "star" a database or something in the Family History Library Catalog so that I could get updates on when documents from this location are indexed. I am on FamilySearch every day and could work with many ancestors and relatives, so receiving updates on specific locations or collections would maximize my time. My guess is that the ancestral update emails are automated. I was hoping for something similar for the various databases that are part of the catalog. Thanks.

Indexing projects typically take at least a few months to complete, so you could periodically check Indexing (now nicely hidden under Get Involved, ain't that a wonderful disimprovement, bless their hearts) for a project involving the records you're interested in. There don't appear to be any currently: I searched for "Pennsylvania" and it said "No projects found".

The idea is to allow people to star items from the Family History Library Catalog that they really want to see/have available. It would be similar to the current ability to "star" a relative that a person wants to check on, but for when there are updates to the database. It really doesn't have to do with database indexing, except for the outcome of that product.
