Multiple family trees talking to one another

Is there any way to have multiple sites family trees talk to one another? I was able to do a family tree transfer only once between Ancestry and Family search but it would be so much easier if there was an ability to have the trees talk and transfer info more often. Going back and forth is very difficult and it is much easier to make a mistake.
