Hello. I had great help from this group finding my GGM's birth record in Sicily a couple years ago. I am not able to find any type of birth record for Vittorio Zorzetto born 25 April 1896 in Albettone, Italy (Venice). He died Sept 26, 1975 in Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania. I can't even find his parents' names. His brother, Valentino Zorzetto was born 6 Feb 1893 in Albetone, as well. I've searched online extensively and can't find Vittorio's brith record. In the US he was known as Victorio or Victor. Is anyone able to assist me or point me in the right direction? I greatly appreciate any and all help.

Hello. That's awesome that you had such a great experience getting help to find your great-grandmother's birth record. Hopefully, you'll have the same success with Vittorio's birth record. I did a quick search in Research Wiki for Vicenza, the province for Albettone. I'm attaching a link to the information I found. Look at the box on the right. It states that this particular set of records are scheduled to become available. This set of records covers the information and the date range you are interested in.

I don't know if this particular set of records are available elsewhere but I think it might help to know that people are working on this and in the near future these records will become available on FamilySearch. As a volunteer missionary in FamilySearch, I can tell you that there is no answer as far as when this set of records will become available. I would suggest that you just keep a close eye on this.

I hope this helps a little. Perhaps someone else may have better suggestions to help you along with this research.
