Is there a way I can search for someone just within my own family tree, not the whole world's??

Thank you for posting your question. You might try searching for cemeteries in the area of Archer, Idaho, and see if they have a listing of names. Likely they would be near Idaho Falls, and maybe Rexburg. You might try narrowing your search by using a family last name.
Good luck.

are you talking about a DIRECT ancestor - or just some other person connected on your family tree? - (siblings, cousins, in laws of direct ancestors)
you really should be able to quickly see where your limited number of recent direct ancestors were buried - just going one by one. (I only have to go back like 3 generations to see all my Idaho ancestors (extremely few people lived in Idaho before 1890 or so)
but I assume you may mean a relative that is not a direct ancestor.
I assume you dont know which surname it was ? or you would have found out by now.

this is an interesting mapping utility applied to your DIRECT ancestors
https://www.familysearch.org/discovery/explore/generations
at first glimpse I didnt see how to configure it to display death locations.

Thanks to both of you for your suggestions! I didn't know the surname, but Dennis, you were right that there weren't so many generations in Idaho so I was able to look through each person's info until I found who I was looking for. It turns out she died in Archer, Idaho but was buried in Utah. Some of her children were buried in Archer though.
Thanks again!
