    @dragon1817

    Please be sure you are signed into your account before you try to do any type of search. Often an "oops" message is the result of not being signed into the website. If you have not been active at FamilySearch for a while, the system can time you out. This means that you will need to sign in again before trying to do any research.

    To help us investigate your concern, could you please post your exact search path? Are you searching for a specific person in our Historical Records? Are you searching for someone in the Family Tree program? Details about your research efforts and about your equipment may help us assist you. We look forward to your additional information.

    I do hope this link helps you.

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-delete-all-of-the-cookies-and-temporary-files-stored-by-my-internet-browser

    Over time, a large cache of temporary files and cookies accumulates and can cause problems when you use the FamilySearch website.

    •  Your computer automatically creates a temporary file every time you open a web page. The browser saves these temporary files so that it can return to them quickly.
    • Cookies are small pieces of code that FamilySearch and other websites store on your computer. Cookies allow FamilySearch to customize your experience for you. For more information about FamilySearch cookies, go to the bottom of the FamilySearch home page, and click Cookie Preferences.

    Clear your cache or cookie in these circumstances:

    Also Family Search advices that we use Chrome or Firefox as our browser and that we update it regally.

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards

    Maureen
