My husband has a different Family Search ID (shown in Family Tree App) than the one I have in my Family Tree. When I do a search for that ID number it shows "No Results"...???

How do I change my ID? That is, in my family search account? He has a different ID for me than what I have in my family history or rather family search app and it has my information on it does not have my full family history.

The "Possible Duplicate" and "Merge by ID" tools are NOT available. And I have a clear duplicate to fix. :/

One of my children cannot see any of their [living] father's ancestry. When he tries to replace the person using an ID number, he gets the message, "unable to find any possible matches."

We have tried all of the unique IDs that our family has for him, and each one has been rejected. Is there an alternate way to correct a living parent?

Each account holder has their own IDs for living persons. Your child will need to make their own ID for any living person they need to add to their account. You cannot share living IDs between accounts. So, if he has a living father, he will need to create a new ID for him in his account. If the grandparents, greats, etc are still living he will need to create IDs for them as well. Then he can connect them to the next deceased generation.

PamelakMartin Sometimes different browsers will be glitchy and not work if there has been a recent internet update of some kind. Maybe try a different browser and if that doesn't work, try contacting either of these links: Online Genealogy Help. Or Genealogy Research Help
