My sign-in name is ncepeda1 or NoraCepeda, but I can't remember my password. Your offer to email me my previously used passwords cannot reach me, because my email address has changed since I first opened my Family Search account.
Thank you.
Nora

I have a friend that has used Family Search in the past. They have lost their password and changed their phone number to recover the password.
How can this be resolved?

Hello @Huth Alister Ian
Have your friend contact FamilySearch Support.
You can contact by Support by clicking on the Question Mark ? (top right of the FamilySearch screen). Then click Contact Us. Click on your country of residence. Scroll down until you see the Schedule an Appointment Options.
kind regards

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]
Just in passing ...
Just in case, you were not aware ...
There has been a relatively RECENT "Split" of, Our CHURCH Account; and, Our 'FamilySearch' Account.
A "Change" in the "Password" of one, NO LONGER corresponds, in a "Change" in the "Password", of the other.
[ Like it used to ... ]
Here is a "Knowledge Article", in 'FamilySearch':
FamilySearch and Church Account Split
https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/familysearch-and-church-account-split
As such ...
That is the REASON, that we NO LONGER, have the "Option", to "Reset", our "Password", in 'FamilySearch', using our Membership number in the Church.
We now, ONLY have the options, to "Reset", our "Password", in 'FamilySearch', through/via, a ("Mobile") "Text" 'Message'; or, an "E-mail".
Now ...
That Said ...
'Yes', we can STILL get access to Our 'FamilySearch' Account, through our "Church" Account ...
But, "Technically", there has been a ('Form' of) SEPARATION, between the two Accounts.
IF, one, has NOT, "Changed", one's "Password", between the two Accounts; THEN, same/same, all good.
But ...
That Said ...
IF, one, HAS, "Changed", one's "Password", between the two Accounts; THEN, that is where, things can go astray.
Nowadays, "Changes" in one's 'FamilySearch' Account, is handled, through 'FamilySearch' "Support".
Whereas, "Changes" in one's "Church" Account, is handled, through the "Global Help/Support Desk", of the "Church".
I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat.
Brett
