Last Changed information

I use Family Search daily and enjoy it very much. However, I do not find helpful the new "Last Changed" information printed under each category.

I find it very distracting and I cannot quickly look at the information on the person page. At least put the name, sex, birth, etc in bold so that it stands out from the Last Changed information.

I love View My Relationship! Very helpful.

Thanks, Carol Cash

    Carol

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    Just in passing ...

You personally, may not like the "Last Changed" ...

Many, most likely do not ...

    Whereas ...

Many, like myself, do like to 'see', that "Last Changed" displayed.

    Now ...

    That Said ...

    Just in case ...

Please be. aware; and, advised, that ...

IF, one DOES NOT, like to 'see', the "Detail", of "Last Changed"; THEN, it is a "Very" SIMPLE matter, of turning the "Off", the "Detail View", for both, the "Vitals"; and, "Other Information", Sections, for individuals/persons ...

[ Please note, that the "Default" setting, is "On" ... ]

It is just a matter of turning it "Off" ...

    Pictorially ...

    [ This is the SAME individual/person ... ]

    ON ...

    Vitals

    image.png

    Other Information

    image.png

    And ...

    OFF ...

    Vitals

    image.png

    Other Information

    image.png

    So ...

    The Choice is yours ...

    Good Luck.

I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat.

I do not understand the points you are making. Firstly, perhaps it's down to my bad observation, but I was not aware this is a new feature - I seem to remember it being there for some time. Secondly, names and dates are in bold type, so I don't find the feature intrusive in any way.

The problem with Brett's suggestion of taking off the "Detail View" option is that the reason statements become invisible, too - but at least that is an option.

Screenshot showing "name, sex, birth, etc." are in bold type (well, if not exactly "bold", certainly a couple of shades darker than "Last Changed..." print:

Interesting, on my computer it does not have bold print like yours.

    Carol

    Firstly ...

Like you, I DO NOT normally 'see', what is 'seen' (ie. that "Bolding"), in that "Image", of 'Paul's' ...

    UNLESS ...

I "Increase" the "Zoom", in my "Browser", to (at least) x150% ...

    Secondly ...

I totally agree with 'Paul', that ...

I DO NOT either, like; or, recommend, the use of ...

Turning "Off", the "Detail View" ,,,

    BECAUSE ...

    Doing so, "Hides" both,

    (1) "Reason This Information Is Correct" ... If ANY ...

    AND ...

    (2) "Last Changed" ... 'Date' (and, by whom)

I like to, 'see'; and, 'know of' ... BOTH ...

I was ONLY providing you, with an "Option", for the sake of transparency; as, it exists.

    So ...

    That Said ...

I neither, suggest; nor, recommend, the use of, Turning "Off", the "Detail View" ...

    Now ...

    That Said ,,,

IF, one does Turn "Off", the "Detail View"; THEN, I would only recommend doing so ... "Sparingly" ...

And, of course, turning it back "On" again, soon after ...
