Issue regarding sort
In both family search & in the portal (ie: Find My Past) am having difficulty with the sort. It does not seem to hold the sort more than 1 page. For example, in Find My Past if I request the records for Deal, Kent, it will show the records by name. However as I am looking for a particular period, the minute I choose to sort them by date, I end up with records from all over. It seems I can only sort by name, not by date.

Thank you for contacting FamilySearch. It sounds like you're having some trouble with sorting records you find both in FamilySearch and in Find My Past. Without actually seeing what's going on I have a couple of suggestions. First, have you cleared your cookies recently? We find that many problems are resolved by clearing your cookies. You can clear the cookies by going to FamilySearch.org/cookies. My next suggestion would be to try a different browser. I'm attaching an article we found in the Help Center that describes which browsers are compatible to give you an idea of which browsers to try.
If these suggestions don't work please reach back out and let's try a different strategy.
