Various Colour Shade Selections in Gallery, Life Story, etc... so important words/subjects can be individually colored in designated colors and bolded.

Font Size Selections: So the persons typing/keyboarding do not have to strain their eyes and the persons reading the information do not have to strain their eyes/have floaters in the center of their eyes. 😫

Ruler to properly align individual sentences, subject title(s), paragraphs, etc... 🙂

Correction(s)/Edit(s) for various information stated for one or more persons shown on the family tree needs to be done in a simple and effective way.

To Tag and, or Attach someone to a family member of the family tree needs to be done in a much simpler and more effective way.

Why can't a person do an individual family tree for each family surname of each individual ancestor and immediate family members of each?

Present immediate family Father, Mother Children, Grandparents

Father's-Father & Mother, Parents, Siblings, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, etc...

Mother's - Father & Mother, Parents, Siblings, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, etc...

    Father's - Grandfather(s) and Grandmother(s) -Each with a tree of their own = 4 trees

    Mother's- Grandfather(s) and Grandmother(s) - Each with a tree of their own = 4 trees

etc.......For past generations of ancestral family surname(s)/family units <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<,Present family surname(s),/family units, family relations >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.and future generations family surname(s),/family units, family relations

Each individual tree will be listed, able to be selected and viewed with less overwhelm, confusion, stress, and aggravation, and will have the individual link(s) to the other tree(s) alphabetically listed by surname(s), birth-death and Decades/Century of living years, as well as url links to birth certificates, baptismal certificates, marriage certificates, residences, trade/profession, photos, death certificates, military service information, etc... right here on familysearch.org. Taking the guesswork away.👍️😊💡

Re: font coloring, Please Don't. In my opinion, it just makes things look juvenile.

Re: font size, you can make text bigger (or smaller) using your browser.

Re: ruler, I don't know where this would apply. I can't think of an area of FamilySearch where anything needs to be made to line up.

Re: John Henry McGrattan, you can correct his birthdate in Family Tree yourself. Just go to his profile detail page (https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/M7KG-4QD), click "Edit" next to his birthdate, change the date, make sure you pick a correct standardized version, write in why you think the new date is correct, and click "Save". If you have a source for the birthdate, be sure to attach it to his profile, and tag the birthdate to the source citation.

All of the people you quote from Ancestry are already entered here on FamilySearch, so I don't really understand what you're trying to do or what you think is wrong.

Regarding font styles (size, color, etc.): Family Tree and all its parts are so complex as it is that turning all text entry boxes into mini-word processors is just asking for trouble. They have enough trouble keeping all the parts working properly. Also, if you think editing wars are bad now, just think of the trouble when one person wants the last names of his ancestors in purple sans serif italic and someone else wants his ancestors, who happen to be the same person in green serif bold. I would vote down any such option.

"Why can't a person do an individual family tree for each family surname of each individual ancestor and immediate family members of each?"

Because the stated goal and basic underlying philosophy of FamilySearch Family Tree is to have one and only one entry for each individual, thereby having a single family tree for all of humanity.

As far as viewing the tree, since most places places in Family Tree we can see at most just a small section of the tree, I don't understand why having what we see on the screen be a separate tree would really help any. For example, on a person's detail page, I can only see that person and the person's spouse, children, parents, and siblings in the Family Members section. This clear presentation of a limited amount of family is not confusing at all.
