To family search support,

Why photos were removed from Portrait Pedigree PDF?

Originally Portrait Pedigree would show the photos portrait. Why it was removed?

And when it you came back?

Regards,

Fabio.

    @FARM1974 , you will probably have to give more detail for anyone to be able to help you. Can you post the PID of the profile that has the problem you are having?

    @FARM1974

    FYI

    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    Just in passing ...

    Please be, aware; and, advised, that ...

    Currently, the ability, of printing, the actual "Portraits", in a "Portrait" Pedigree", is NOT working.

    ie. The actual "Portraits" are NOT being printed.

    This is a KNOWN Problem/Issue, that, has been reported; and, is being investigated.

    Here is just one recent PREVIUOS post on the matter ...

    Just my thoughts.

    I know, that this certainly does not help/assist; but, I hope, that this may provide you with, some additional, insight; and, perspective.

    @FARM1974 and @Chas Howell

    No offense but Fabio has given a description similar to what many of us have done in describing this problem. It is difficult to describe because of the wording used by FamilySearch which appears to be the same words describing two different things depending on what part of FamilyTree you're looking at.

    Fabio mentioned the "Portrait Pedigree PDF" which I described in my 2022-04-04 trouble report that @Brett . mentioned (see above) in his excellent explanation (Hats off to Brett for staying on top of this!). Brett has followed this since its' inception and helped get feedback from the FamilySearch professionals who are very, very busy. They are indeed working on this problem as Brett has pointed out.

    In case you're still confused what problem we're talking about, pick any ancestor for whom you have family photos. Go to that individual's "Details" page. Scroll down and look on the right side (gray area) under "Print." You'll see the "Portrait Pedigree" option (see example below).

    This is the "Portrait Pedigree PDF" Fabio mentioned via which you can download or print a PDF of the selected person's pedigree, including children, selected spouse, and ancestors. Photos were formally included. Now they are not. That's the problem.
