Use of Hints from the Norway Church Books database
I am seeing recurring problems as people add hints that are derived from the Norway Church Books database so I have put together a presentation about these issues. I'm going to be sending the link for it to people who are attaching these hints and causing errors in Family Tree individuals.
If anyone has Norwegian relatives in Family Tree whose pages are collecting these same problems, feel free to share the link for the presentation with the people who are not being careful enough when adding hints.
Also, if anyone has seen other problems caused by these hints, please let me know and along with where to find an example so I can add to the presentation.

I learned something new: I didn't know about the trick of "Close" and then "Details" to get Source Linker to actually show an existing christening entry.
(I have exactly zero Scandinavian ancestors -- despite MyHeritage's ridiculous "DNA ethnicity" numbers -- but the baptism-versus-christening nonsense applies equally to Hungarian records.)

Someone else posted somewhere here that difference between the compare and details view in source linker a few months ago. It's handy to know.

Thank you so much for sharing this presentation. I'm trying to fix a very messed up family tree with far too many people adding information without looking at a single document...
