I recently found a record proving the lineage of Dr. Joseph Johnson Hayward

For many years my family believed that he was a decendent starting that my great great grand father Henderson was well todo and involved in many political thing of his time and really it was kinda of the last stop no one could prove it though. I did just find this news paper from Joseph Johnson Hayward's Daughters obituary and does state that she is the direct descendent of Thomas Hayward Jr. So for the question it says that I can not add this to my tree because its locked could anyone be of any help here.

What is locked, your tree or the article? Have you attempted to go to the newspaper and finding the original article? Just an idea.

You should be able to your memories gallery and then link it to someone in your tree. I have just been able to upload it successfully.
