I am trying to find a mariage certificate for 1937 between my mother in law who was French and a young UK Naval officer. The marriage could have been held in Port Tuffic or Alexandria or even Paris. I have serched for 3 years with no success. I have birth and death certificates gor both parties but would like the marriage. Could you help in this, please?

Note that it was not compulsory for UK citizens abroad to register these events with their own government.
