Standardizing Location Feature on new Discovery Page?
I noticed on the new Discovery Page home screen that there is no link to the standardizing locations area. The only place to standardize locations is on the old screen. If you could add standardizing locations to the new screen, I would switch over permanently as I like the new screen, but not all features are available. The "old" home screen is the only place to find the standardization of places and I do that every morning and on my phone before work. Thanks!

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Just in passing ...
The "Location", in the "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch" [.org], IS the "Standardisation" ...
Please be, aware; and, advised, that ...
The "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch" [.org], is NOT something, that we can switch to ...
The "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch" [.org], are ONLY, a means, to an end ...
That "End"; being, the ability of CERTAIN individuals/persons, in the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch', who HAVE "Discovery Pages", to be found by People, searching the INTERNET, for their "Ancestors".
And, subsequently; bring, those People, to the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch'.
That is all ...
Nothing more, nothing less ...
The "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch" [.org], are NOT, a place, that we can work; or, a working "Programme".
The "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch" [.org], are CREATED, by a 'System", from the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch' .
Many of us, DO NOT even like, the "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch" [.org] ...
And, wish, that they DID NOT exist, in their current format/style ...
Especially, are they are often, NOT, a TRUE representation, of an individual/person, in the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch'.
Just my thoughts.
I know, that this certainly does not help/assist; but, I hope, that this may provide you with, some additional, insight; and, perspective.

Furthermore ...
Here are some "Knowledge Articles", in 'FamilySearch':
What is the purpose of discovery pages in Family Tree?

Where does the information on discovery pages come from?

How do I fix errors on a Family Tree discovery page?
https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/fix-errors-on-a-family-tree-discovery-page
Where, it states, among other things:
Quote
------------------
Standardized dates and places
If you compare information shown in the Family Tree to the information shown on the discovery page, you may see that the discovery page displays a different date or place from Family Tree. This is because Family Tree stores two versions of each date and place:
- The date and place exactly as the user entered it.
- A standardized date and place that help FamilySearch systems correctly interpret the user-entered date or place.
In many cases, the user-entered and standardized information is identical. When they are different, the discovery page displays standardized dates and places.
------------------
Changes to Family Tree do not show up immediately on the discovery pages
https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/changes-to-discovery-pages
I hope, that these may also help/assist, somewhat.

"too long, didn't read" for Brett's posts: the Discovery pages are not meant as a replacement for profile pages, and cannot function as such, as they are not user-editable at all.

I have asked you before, privately ...
And, I will request once again, in public ...
Please, DO NOT, 'Deride' my 'Style' ...
Just make your response, about a post/comment; and, leave your 'Derision', out of it ...
Enough, is enough ...
And, I have really had enough ....
Your 'Derision' is OFFENSIVE ...
I will NOT ask again ...
'Thank You', in advance.
Kind regard.

@Brett ., I apologize that my post came across to you as offensive or derisive of your style. I did not intend it so: it's simply a summary or much-shortened version. That's what "too long, didn't read" refers to.
