Missing Film from Collection
Hello,
Apologies if this isn't the right place to post this question. I am trying to find the birth record of a family member born in 1889 in Atina, Italy. Unfortunately the 'Nati, 1889-1890' records haven't been uploaded to FamilySearch.
See below
https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/1494873?availability=Family%20History%20Library
Can anyone help or advise with trying to locate this missing film? Every birth record from 1809-1929 for the town appears to have been uploaded, except for this particular record :(
I have multiple records stating their birth date is in 1889. I have searched all other 'Nati' records for the town +- 5 years just in case but cannot locate them in those records either.
Thank you

@AndreFedeli The missing film seems to be a catalog error. We have recently learned that the cataloging department accepts reports/queries about apparent catalog errors. You can email books@familysearch.org to see if they can get the missing DGS added to the catalog.

I am not connected with FamilySearch
From the way the DGS numbers run, it seems very likely as though there is actually a DGS number 5715466 for the record in question, but for some reason it has not been printed in the catalogue. Perhaps @N Tychonievich could refer this on to the engineers.

Putting 5715466 into the "manual" or "human-parseable" URL (https://www.familysearch.org/search/film/005715466) gives a "Page Not Found" error, so if the film exists, it has not been put on the servers, or not under this number.

Thank you for you responses. It does seem likely that there should be a film with DGS number 5715466.
That would be much appreciated if this could be escalated further

Thanks for providing the new email, but could you confirm that it is actually correct, as previously the same email address has been provided for book donations (see https://www.familysearch.org/en/family-history-library/visit ) and it seems to me rather unusual to have the same email address for book donations, and for catalog corrections.

@MaureenE123 Yes, the email is the same as the one for book donations. The cataloging department takes care of both.

@N Tychonievich Thanks for confirming.
