New (-to-me) error behavior: pulsing stripes
I tried to follow the link in Paul's thread about auto-standardization needing much broader attention (which it does!): https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/123017/do-the-engineers-intend-to-address-the-incorrectly-standardized-placenames-issues#latest
What I got was a page with long gray ovals (of varying length and width) that go back and forth between lighter and darker shades of gray, for a pulsing effect.
It's still doing it over on its tab, several minutes later. I just tried reloading, and it went right back to its happy pulsing. I also tried the link again, and no change.
Is this intended error behavior? Has anyone else encountered it before?

Oh, quicker than I thought! I just deleted the end part of the URL and reinstated the missing last name (Platman) and recked some "Exact" boxes:
Well, it is working for me at the moment, so will copy the link to the other thread, too.

I see the same thing now. At the bottom is that cartoon error image and
Something Went Wrong
Unfortunately, something went wrong, and we are unable to display the search results. Try refreshing the page, or come back later.
Refreshing the page did nothing. So come back later.

How strange! I always check out the links after posting and I got back to the page without any problem yesterday. Today, I have the same problem you have both experienced.
I have noticed this behaviour temporarily lately (the pulsing stripes), but the page seems to load after a short delay. But, no, still flashing away a few minutes after my attempt to reach the page in the screenshot again and reloading doesn't help. I'll try to get back to the original page (if I remember my search inputs / parameters!) and paste here if successful.
