Yees, it is so simple. It would help us a lot

I thought the limit of 300 was for reservations that you want to keep for yourself to do.
And that there was no limit to what you can reserve and share with temple. Am I wrong about that?

To share an ordinance with the temple, you currently have to first reserve it so that it is in your "My Reservations" list and then you can share it with the temple. But when someone has more than 300 reservations they are not allowed to reserve any others. So even if their intention is to immediately share it with the temple, they can't do it, since they can't reserve it, even temporarily.
It sounds like they are hoping that there would be a new feature that would allow them to reserve and share in one step so that the 300 limit wouldn't stop them. I imagine FamilySearch is hoping that they would take steps to get under the 300 limit; then they would be able to do this with no need for FamilySearch to implement a new feature just for these people whose reservation lists are longer than the 300 limit.

I was doing research yesterday and tried to request ordinances for a relative when I got the message that I had reached my maximum of 300 lines and could not request more ordinances. When I saw that message, I decided that I would just request the ordinances and submit them to the temple since I couldn't add them to my own reservation list. The roadblock was that the message that popped up about reaching my maximum blocked my ability to request the ordinances and share them with the temple. Because of that, I had to stop my research. So, my recommendation is that the message telling me I have reached my maximum should provide an option (a button to click that says "share with temple" or something like that) to bypass it if I am willing to share the names with the temple. That way, I can keep going in my research and keep submitting names for temple work. I'm attaching a screen shot of the message that blocked my work.

Have you considered leaving them alone? Ordinances Ready will help others find the work that needs to be done without them being shared with the temple file. Additionally, names shared with the temple provide limits on family groups working on them. Often people complain about names of close relatives being shared with the temple by others who are more distantly related.
