There is an error now in my family tree due to someone (thomaswesleynehring1) having added a misspelling of my paternal great-grandmother's name (see LZWQ-FSK which he created). He supports this by having seen this misspelling of Loretta in marriage registration records. I sent him a message, but so far no response.

Actually it was a baptism record, not a marriage record. Now, while this baptism collection is indexed, the indexes are not associated with the images, so it will take some work to find the actual record. Are you certain this is not the same person as your great grandmother? I see your great grandmother's record, which I am assuming is GH4R-CQY does not have any birth records. Have you eliminated the possibility that this is not new information about your great grandmother and that in fact a merge is in order?

Looking at the sources, I too think GH4R-CQY Juana de Casas and LZWQ-FSK (now LZWQ-FQS) Juana Maria del Refugio Casas Caldera may be the same person.
GH4R-CQY has only a death record, and it gives an estimated birth year based on an approximate age of 80.
Is this the family @LIZWOLOSKI posted about?[Thanks to the mod for splitting this off to make a new discussion.]0
