Keep ordinances in my name
When I share ordinances with individuals, it puts ALL ordinances in that person's name, not just the ones I'm sharing. For instance when I try to share just baptisms and confirmations, I unshare them from the temple and then share them with the individual. Those are then in that person's name when they accept them. I don't unshare the initiatory or endowment from the temple but it puts those ordinances in that person's name, showing them still shared with the temple. It would be so much easier to keep track of the ordinances if they remained in my name. Is that possible?

Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]
Just in passing ...
The matter, has actually been, broached, by 'FamilySearch' ....
Here is a "Knowledge Article", in 'FamilySearch':
Is it allowable to share just baptisms and confirmations with family and friends?
As an aside ...
When, we "Share", the "Temple" Work, of an individual/person, with others, through 'FamilySearch'.
eg. another User/Patron; a "Family Group"; and, even, with the "Temple System" ...
Like it or not ...
We ARE basically, "Transferring", our RESPONSIBILITY, of the "Reservation", to the OTHER User/Patron ...
Though ...
Like you indicate ...
Admittedly, MANY; Many; many, of us, STIIL would like (and, in fact, WANT) ,to 'keep tabs', on the 'status', of the "Temple' Work, of our Ancestors, that we have ORIGINALLY "Reserved"; and, later, "Shared".
Hopefully, 'FamilySearch', MAY be considering, allowing us, to SPLIT, the actual "Ordinances"; so that, we CAN "Share", individual "Ordinances", with OTHERS, instead of having to "Share" ALL.
We can but live in hope.
Just my thoughts.
I know, that this certainly does not help/assist; but, I hope, may support your thoughts.

If you want reservations to stay on your list, then you cannot share with others only the temple. I have found if I want to have youth do my baptisms, instead of sharing the reservation I just share the card with them. I can email them a pdf of the cards and the reservation stays on my list and I can complete the next ordinances without concern to someone sharing them back to me. Just another method that can be used.
