Correction on a 1940 census record

On this record for the 1940 census for Mankato, Minnesota, the child, Kathleen Nusser, is listed as 56 years old. However, this was a misread of the record by the indexer. The original record clearly shows that Kathleen is 5/12 years old.

That error is not fixable at this time.

It is a relatively frequent error and the work-around we all use is to attach the record, explain the error in the record note, and edit the heading of the record in the profile's Sources list.
