Search by ordinance card barcode on "My Reservations"

Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]
Just in passing ...
Perhaps, I a missing something ...
I am somewhat confused ...
Because ...
The "Temple" Cards, ALREADY include, the 'FamilySearch Person Identifier' (PID) of the individual(s)/person(s).
Question: It not, the PID enough, to "Locate", the individual(s)/person(s), to which the "Temple" Card belongs?
Please advise/clarify.
As an aside ...
The EXISTING "Bar Code", on the "Temple" Cards, we print, is for use in the "Temple", by the "Temple" System.
[ ie. the sperate "Temple" Database, that "Synchronizes", with the 'FamilySearch' Database - "Family Tree" ... ]
The "Bar Code", relates to our, "Request"; and, subsequent, "Reservation", of the "Temple' Work.
The "Bar Code", is for use in the "Temple", by the "Temple" System.
Although, "Bar Code Scanner" Applications, are widely available, I would humbly venture to suggest, that MANY Members of the Church would NOT either, have them; and/or, use them.
Hence, WHY, the 'FamilySearch Person Identifier' (PID) of the individual(s)/person(s) concerned, appears on the "Temple" Cards, to enable easy location, of the individual(s)/person(s) concerned, in the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch'.
Just my thoughts.

Before temple closures, my wife and I had printed hundreds of cards (which we could go through in a few weeks with the help of our families), which we were suddenly unable to take to the temple. Now that we are able to go again, we have to look up each name to make sure the ordinances didn't un-reserve (as some have) and to make sure the person the card belongs to hasn't been merged (as has happened quite a bit).
Checking this took hours because I needed to key in all of the identifiers. I have a barcode scanner, so it would save us a great deal of time.
I appreciate your overeager opposition, but I only came to suggest the idea in case it were a trivial additional feature for the development team to add.

Just in passing ...
I was not suggesting, 'overeager' opposition ...
I was indicating, what the CURRENT "Bar Code" is, on the "Temple" Cards; and, the fact, that the 'FamilySearch Person Identifier' (PID), for individuals/persons, are ALREADY printed, on the "Temple" Cards.
Plus, that MANY Users/Patrons would NOT be using, "Bar Code Scanners".
As an aside ...
Having something, for the purpose, that you suggest, may require TWO (x2) "Bar Codes" to be "Printed" on "Temple" Cards; which, of course, is possible; but, they would NEED to be, distinctly DIFFERENT; so that, there could not be any confusion, between the two.
Such (ie. an additional "Bar Code") may seem 'trivial'; but, I would humbly suggest, that sometimes, what seems 'trivial', is not.
Do not get me wrong, I understand your particular situation/circumstance; whereas, that said, there may be some in that position; but, not too many.
Hence, whether there is a need for such ...
Just my thoughts.
We can but live in hope.
