2 week stay signed in
On Church member accounts, perhaps there could be some kind of test we could pass or promise to only sign in on our personal devices, not public so we can stay signed in for 2 weeks instead of 20 minutes. (Kind of like TSA Precheck. You can fingerprint me, too if you want!) It is very inconvenient and I'm on my laptop virtually all day every day but I do have several tabs open depending on what I'm doing, checking out Find A Grave, old newspapers, Ancestry, etc.

I really don't see why there appears to be no problem with some websites in providing warnings you are about to be timed-out, or have been logged out, but with FamilySearch (and, I admit, many other websites that I use) we are caught-out time and time again, by adding details that are completely lost as soon as we try to "Save".
There seems no excuse that "FamilySearch" does not choose to at least try to tackle this problem, even though I appreciate no action will provide a perfect solution.
(I have made this complaint to other website administrators, too: "If others can handle this issue better, why can't You?!")
