    Hi @Donald McNeill_2

So sorry that your computer crashed and you need to gain access to PAF 5. FamilySearch has not been providing support for PAF for several years now as explained in the following knowledge article from our Help Center.

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/can-i-get-a-copy-of-personal-ancestral-file-paf

To find a copy of PAF 5 I would recommend that you do a Google Search. There are several places where you can still download a copy of the Personal Ancestral File.

Keep in mind that there are also other software programs that you can use for Family Tree management. These are listed in our Solutions Gallery under the heading of Family Tree Management, and as you review how each program interfaces with FamilySearch, you can possible select one of the programs that can both read what is in Family Tree as well as update information in Family Tree.

I wish you success with your continued Family History efforts.
