How can I edit titles of photos? I posted it and have returned some time later, after it was "processed". It will not allow me to edit or insert a title, or any other information about that photo.

According to a Knowledge Article from our Help Center, "Over time, a large cache of temporary files and cookies accumulates and can cause problems when you use the FamilySearch website."
Because of this, the first thing we suggest is that you delete your cookies and temporary files stored in your browser.
Here are some links to articles that give instructions for doing that.
Another option is to choose another browser. Here is an article with a list of supported browsers.
We hope some of these ideas will help you.

HI thank you for the question of how to edit a title in Family Search Memories. The above answers are great but here is an article from the Help center that details the steps to edit the titles.
Keeping your cookies and cache clear is always a great idea and should be done often to help a web site working efficiently.
Thank you Family Search

are you still having this issue?
if you are referring to FS Memories photos - there is an "Edit Title" link next to the title.
but you MUST actually be "logged in" to get that functionality

Good question;
Today my sister in law couldn't edit a title on a memory, so . . . . scroll down where it says "Stories" and you can enter a title to the story regarding the picture. Then you can make a story.
We didn't add the memory so we couldn't edit the Title, or tag anyone.
By creating a "Story " for the memory, it shows up clear when you go to that memory.
Help didn't help. But we just figured it out ourselves.
Let us know.

well yes - if the item is uploaded by someone else - you will not be able to edit the title of someone else's upload - that is very much by design.
BUT yes - you bring up some good points.
If you create a Story for the photo/image (create an association between an existing photos with a newly created story ) - that "story" is yours - and you can edit the title.
Be sure and make sure your "story" though is person-tagged to the corresponding person in FamilyTree - and not just the base image/photo.
Note however the original image still belongs to the original submitter - and if they changed the item to "private" or if they deleted the item - you would lose access.
Also realize - there is nothing ever preventing you from downloading ANY public memory item you find.
and also - most people don't realize that you can add someone else's memories item to your own albums (it does not create a 2nd version of the item - it simply includes the reference to the item in your album and the item still belongs to the other person). But you can use albums to create categories/groupings of items that you FIND in FS memories - of other people's submissions. (you will NOT be able to include other people's items in your base GALLERY though - but albums yes)
another cool option is to record audio recordings of you or someone else - discussing the photo or memories item.
