Meanings of First Names

I know you are using the Hanks book for your first name information (an excellent source), but if you need the meanings of first names from other parts of the world, I can supply them. I am a member of the American Name Society, and I am working on a book of given names that includes about a quarter of a million names, all attested. I would be happy to give you the meanings of any names that I have. Your site has been a blessing to my research, and I would love to return the favor.

Um, two points: one, onomastics is not genealogy, so a genealogy site like FamilySearch really has no business dealing with name origins (especially in the totally-context-free way that the Discovery pages employ), and two, names have origins and etymologies, not meanings. (You don't expect someone named Holly to be glossy green and prickly, do you?)

(Bonus nitpick: calling them "first names" is sloppy. They're not first in Hungarian, Chinese, Japanese, or Korean.)
