Hopefully, we might some day get some advice on whether the programme has started to digitise microfiche records in general. Originally we were advised microfiche digitisation would begin once the microfilm exercise had been completed, but I am not aware of FamiySearch providing any updates.

It would be helpful if someone with knowledge could advise what is the current situation with the digitisation of microfiche.
However, even if digitised, I suspect that this item (available as both a book and microfiche of the book) may be treated be treated as a book still in copyright, and therefore not available to view.
Edit: this type of request was, under the "old System", previously made as a FamilySearch Support request. It will be interesting to see if there is any "Family Search Support" type response.
(I am not connected with FamilySearch).

The book in question has a publication date of 1981, meaning it will still be under copyright for quite some years to come. It may be digitized but may not be available online outside the FHL.
The book is available in quite a few libraries.
