What an amazing story. Our paths have been similar, but I don't believe we have met. I served a mission in Guatemala, starting the year the two missions split. I graduated from BYU with a BS degree in Family History in 2005 and earned a AG in 2010. I love the FHL and have fond memories of the hours I spent there doing research. I enjoyed working with Brother Ryskamp and earned an AA in Spanish. The skills learned have made it possible to be of service to many people. I am currently planning another presentation on the FHL and FS. The online information is great, but I wonder if there are any materials that could be used without copyright issues. I would also like a current floor plan map showing the changes. I appreciate any assistance you can provide.
Thank you.

What is the Church's position on the creation and sustaining of Family Search Centers? We recently moved from a Stake that maintained Family Search Centers in each of their buildings and have recently moved to a Stake that maintains one FSC site in the Stake and has received counsel, that due to lack of people using these sites, it was recommended that no further sites should be developed and the one site mentioned above may be discontinued, which I think would be unfortunate. Believe these sites not only bless the members of the Church, but also the community as a whole. Your comments regarding the above is greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Bro. Poe
