Cant scroll to read all the text in a message I received

I recently contacted one of the contributors to my family tree and asked for his sources. I was happy when he wrote me back, however, his message was long and I could not scroll to the right to view it completely. Part of the important search link ist cut off and a name too. I can scroll the page up and down. Weird. Suggestions?

I cannot re-create your problem, so I don't know if this'll help, but you could try to select the text of the message and then copy and paste into a text editor (such as Notepad).

Having the same issue with messages...anything over two lines cannot be read or scrolled to show all the text. Several other people I message with and others in my ward are also not able to read full messages.

Same here. I can no longer read the thread of interest in Messages. There is no scroll bar to move the screen. Has there been a resolution?

The workaround that I stumbled across was to select some text and then extend the selection off the bottom of the page. That caused the hidden messages to scroll upwards into the viewable area.
