Mobile app login using Church login is missing

Hi,

I am trying to login to the mobile app on my Android tablet using my Church account but that option no longer is on the login page, in the app login screen. I can login fine on the website using my Church ID.

Is this by design?

How do I login so as to be able to access all my entered data in the app?

Firstly ...

I have had a quick look ...

I would humbly suggest, that the option, to "Sign In with Church Account", is NOT available, through the "Mobile" Application, of 'FamilySearch'.

Secondly ...

As an aside ...

Please be, aware; and, advised, that ...

You DO NOT, need to "Log In", with the "Credentials", of your Church Account, in the "Mobile" Application, of 'FamilySearch', if your Church Membership Number, is ALREADY associated, with your 'FamilySearch' Account.

ALL the "Data", that you entered, through the ORIGINAL "Computer" Web version, of 'FamilySearch', WILL automatically be available, when you "Log In" to 'FamilySearch', using the "Mobile" Application.

ie.

It is the SAME "Credentials", that you use, to "Sign In" to the ORIGINAL "Computer" Web version, of 'FamilySearch', that you use to "Sign In" to the "Mobile" Application, of 'FamilySearch'.

I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat.

I have the same issue. I login with Church login, the app doesn't have that option. Please update.

You can check some things to help, such as using Google Play app, Family search does not use windows apps. Check you have the latest version Android it will be 7 or higher and Apple version 11 or higher. For more information see our KA's on using mobile apps in the Help Centre section.

Have you tried signing in on the APP using the username and password you use to sign into the church website?

The Family Tree app only allows signing in with a FamilySearch account, not a “church” account. The login credentials for both can be the same or different—it’s up to the user.

How do you login into the App with a church login?

I can login with a browser using church sign in but not on the app. I tried to set-up app login but it gives me an error that I already have an account.

So, if you already have an account that works and the app won't allow you to register and link because it says it has an account, how do you login into the app?

Latest update of the FamilyTree App allows you to use your Church Account credentials to log in as well as your FamilySearch Account credentials.
