Confused about Great Grandfather's siblings
Hi, My great grandfather was Clarence Cromer shown in both the Census images below. I heard stories that there was another Clarence Cromer in the area, and that the other guy had a bad reputation, so there may have been two different but similar families.
But can anyone look at these two side-by-side Census snips and tell me if they think they're the same family, just with more children in 1920, and some of the older children potentially out of the house or no longer living? The age gaps between Charles, Mary and Clarence are the same in both Censuses, and I find the chance to be remote that there could be so many similarities and it not be the same family.
However, I found Clarence's obituary and it only listed these family members, which leaves several siblings out:
Parents - Charles Cromer and Mary Fountain Cromer.
Spouses - Pauline Caraco Cromer (3rd), Irene Crouse Cromer (2nd, d. 1981),
and Mary Higel Cromer (1st, d. 1977).
Daughters - Madelyn Valachovic, Mrs. Louis Howe, and Shirley Wilmot, all of Johnstown.
Sister - Etta Whitbeck of Canajoharie.
Brothers - Myron Cromer and Harvey Cromer, both of Gloversville.

In the 1920 Census on the right - sister Anna May is married to William ?Surnear? - so one key might be determining whether this marriage record exists and lists parents the same/different (or if it is really Etta - because this would appear to be her if it is the correct family). So did Etta/Anna May marry Whitbeck as second marriage? But yes the family appears to line up fairly well ... just needs a bit more confirmation (the obituary does seem to confirm both).

I'm now realizing that sister Etta is listed in the 1910 Census, and brother Myron is listed in the 1920 Census, so I'm going with the conclusion that this is in fact the same family, just had a lot of kids. I just hesitate to add family members to my tree when I have trouble confirming things.
